Cooling System Repair

Coolant warning light, a sweet smell, steam, or a temperature gauge that climbs? Water pumps, thermostats and plastic coolant parts on BMW, Audi, VW and MINI wear out with age, and overheating can do serious engine damage. If the temperature is climbing, stop driving and call us.

What we repair

  • Water pumps
Including the electric pumps on many BMWs, which often fail with little warning.

  • Thermostats and housings
Plastic housings crack and leak over time. A stuck thermostat can cause overheating or poor heat.

  • Coolant hoses, pipes and expansion tanks
Plastic pipes and tanks become brittle with age.

How we handle it: we pressure-test the system to find the leak, replace the failed parts, then fill and bleed the system properly. German cooling systems need correct bleeding to avoid air pockets.
