PCV valve / oil separator
A failed diaphragm can cause oil consumption, a whistling idle, rough running and check engine lights, as well as leaks.
Valve cover gasket
Seeps along the top of the engine and can drip onto hot parts below.
Oil filter housing and oil cooler
Leaks here can mix oil and coolant or drip onto the subframe.
Oil pan gasket
Drips under the engine, often found during an oil change.
