Most independent shops have to send Audi and Volkswagen owners back to the dealer for keys, module coding and security unlocks. We don’t.
We use the factory ODIS diagnostic system with official online access to Volkswagen Group, so we can do the same programming the dealer does, here in Rockville.

Component Protection removal
Installing a new or used radio, instrument cluster, climate control or other protected module? Component Protection locks it to the car it came from until it is cleared online through Volkswagen Group. We clear it so the part works in your car.
Control module replacement and coding
Online coding and adaptation after replacing an engine, transmission, ABS, airbag, gateway or comfort module, so the new module matches your car’s factory configuration.
SFD unlocking
Many 2020-and-newer Audi and VW models, such as the Golf 8 and ID.4, use SFD diagnostic protection. Coding and adaptations need an online unlock first. We include it in the job.
Battery registration
A new battery has to be registered to the car (size and type) so the charging system manages it correctly. Skipping it can shorten battery life and cause electrical faults.
EV and hybrid maintenance reset
Service resets and maintenance procedures on Audi e-tron, VW ID models and plug-in hybrids.
Factory tools, not aftermarket scanners
ODIS Service is Volkswagen Group’s own diagnostic software. We run it with an official VAS diagnostic interface, the same way Audi and VW dealers do. With our online access we can flash, code and unlock modules the same way the dealer does, and every job is backed by our 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty.
